April 2011
Hello,
The industry is buzzing since news broke of Activant being sold. There's all kinds of talk about what this means for the ERP market. But, we'd like to address what it means for YOU ... existing Activant Eclipse users. Check out our feature story to find out why everything is going to be okay. And, don't miss our special offer to try our Eclipse services, if you haven't done so yet. Hang in there, Eclipse-ers; and, call me if you want to talk about it!
Full Steam Ahead for Eclipse Users
With the announcement that Activant Solutions is being sold to Apax Partners, maybe you're feeling uncertain about the product's future. Or, maybe you're feeling frustrated about Eclipse’s priority and the attention paid to its users. We believe users could be affected by the sale in three key areas. READ MORE to find out what they are and why we know things are going to be okay for Eclipse users.
Cape + Active + Miller + Johnstone = Great Beginnings
We have four new clients that we’re proud to welcome to the family. We’ll be providing training and consulting for a new installation of Eclipse at Cape Electrical Supply‘s 22 locations. Active Plumbing Supply Company is now part of our EZ Support program. Miller Electric Supply Company hired Zerion to provide a PDW extract. And, Johnstone Supply Murrels Inlet in South Carolina is taking advantage of our reduced price, fixed fee deal for cycle counting implementation.
Eclipse Tip: Warehouse Location Maintenance
Many users don't realize that you can view product locations in Eclipse in multiple ways. With the Warehouse Location Maintenance feature, unlike product location maintenance, you don’t have to enter a product first. You just enter in the Warehouse Location, which allows you to see all of the items in that location. This comes in handy for locations that contain multiple products.
