Jack Whitwam, an owner and founder of the company, serves as Zerion’s president and CEO, offering visionary oversight to all business activity. Jack remains involved in the day-to-day operations as well, often visiting with prospective clients and providing strategic consulting to existing clients. He brings many years of experience in business, people and financial management to Zerion.

Jack is a respected entrepreneur and veteran in the electrical wholesale distribution industry, having owned and managed FIFE/Florida Electrical Supply in Tampa, Fla. before it was acquired by Hughes Supply in 1998. He began his career as a staff accountant at a large national firm after receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida.

Before starting Zerion, Jack continued to operate his supply business in Tampa under the Hughes umbrella and then became a Group Operations Manager at Hughes before finishing his time at the company directing and overseeing the Eclipse implementation in 450 locations.

Jack has five children and two grandchildren and also owns a successful property investment and management business with his wife, Deppie, in Tampa. He is an avid sailor and also enjoys trips into the mountains to hike.
