Jef nordstromJef began programming computers at age 13, and it wasn't long before he realized his calling in the still-young-yet-growing IT space. With degrees in mathematics as well as business administration, along with his development background and experience with various types of software, Jef's talents are uniquely suited to help Eclipse customers get the most from their software investments and meld various software platforms into cohesive systems to advance their business goals. Fresh out of college in the 90s, Jef took the risk of working for a startup company, where he served as a technical services manager for over three years. Later he founded and managed his own independent web development company. From there, Jef moved into IT management roles at various companies in the Huntsville, Alabama area. Prior to joining Zerion, Jef served as the IT manager for an Alabama-based electrical distributor for over a decade. In that role, he helped the company grow from six branches to 15, managing systems administration and integrations, networking, web development and commerce, several deployments of RF warehouse management software, and was also responsible for management and training on the Eclipse software platform. Jef's strength in training, integrations, and in software deployments and rollouts - combined with his ability to help translate what's needed and why to his customers - led him to Zerion, where he's now managing integrations and providing training and consulting for a variety of customers throughout the U.S. When he's not working, Jef can be found watching Alabama football, hugging his six children, or playing drums for a local band. E-mail Jef.
